Calvary Chapel Christian Academy

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Our Mission Statement

It is the purpose of the Calvary Chapel Christian Academy, a religious exempt organization, to provide a balanced, first-class educational experience that allows each child the opportunity to grow in their relationship with God, to develop an honorable character, and to reach their full academic potential, both now and in preparation for continuing education.

Educational Priniciples

Our developmentally appropriate program values Christ-likeness, academic excellence, and creativity.  Our program encourages positive attitudes and moral character.  Our staff and teachers lovingly provide daily instruction from the Bible as well as consistent prayer for each child and family.  We understand the importance of the collaborative efforts of the church, family, and school in the development of each child. Therefore, we will endeavor to aid the child’s learning in each of these areas.

Curriculum

Our daily classroom schedule offers a variety of teacher-directed academics and child-choice activities. The developmentally appropriate curriculum includes a balance of activities which include: ABEKA curriculum, biblical lessons, creative arts, children’s literature, music, dramatic play, sensory play, and large motor activities. Religious education is a thread that is consistently woven into the curriculum. The children hear Bible stories each day and pray often.
