Ephesians 4:11-12 “God has given pastors and teachers to prepare God’s people for works of ministry, so the body of Christ may be built up.”
Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
The Greek word for ministry is “diakonos” which means “to serve.” In the New Testament, ministry is seen as service to God and to other people in His name. God has given each of us a gift that we can give back in service that will make a tremendous difference in His body. CCNN sees ministry as using whatever God has given you to serve him and meet the needs of others with love. Christians are to minister to others out of their devotion to Christ and their love for others; whether the other people are believers or unbelievers, always seeking to help others as Jesus would.
There are a variety of ways that you and your family can join us in service as we seek to Reach Up, In, Around and Out.
