At Calvary Chapel Newport News, our mission is to teach the Good News of Jesus Christ to the lost and the found. We accomplish this by Reaching Up, In, Around, and Out – and it all begins with our 1st Impressions Ministry. The 1st Impressions Ministry is comprised of our Parking Lot Team (as they direct traffic), our Welcome Center Team (as they greet you at the front door), and our Usher Team (as they help you to your seat in one of our twin auditoriums). Each team truly understands the importance of the statement, “You never have a second chance to make a great first impression.” As “Ambassadors For Christ,” the 1st Impressions Ministry seeks to support CCNN’s mission by providing an atmosphere where everyone is eager to be taught the Word of God.
The 1st Impressions Ministry believes that every person who crosses our path is a divine appointment from God.
