ABOUT CALVARY BIBLE INSTITUTE
Calvary Bible Institute (CBI) currently has two facets to its program: School Seminars and Calvary Chapel Leadership Institute (CCLI). CBI is open to all adults, whether you attend Calvary Chapel Newport News, or not. To fully integrate the concept of being a DOER of the Word and not a HEARER only, CBI offers a certification program that incorporates completion of all CBI courses as well as proof of faithful ministry service at your home church.
School Seminars
The schools are a series of seminars designed to lead you into a deeper knowledge of God and His Word and how to apply God’s Word to your life.
Calvary Chapel Leadership Institute (CCLI)
Calvary Chapel Leadership Institute (CCLI) is a one-year academic study with emphasis on practical application. We have designed this program for all CCNN members, whether or not you are currently serving in ministry. CCLI provides academic training through our existing Calvary Bible Institute (CBI) certification program and life-application through servanthood opportunities planned throughout the year.
Those who complete the CCLI requirements are awarded a Certificate of Completion at the end of the year and are guided toward potential lay-leader ministry opportunities. Ultimately, CCLI participants will contribute to the execution of the pastor’s God-given vision for CCNN by serving and / or leading in our current ministries or upcoming ministry opportunities.
